Car lovers and wine lovers will want to check out the Rollin’ Rods Car Show and Wine Festival at Bellview Winery this Sunday, September 4.

The Rollin’ Rods Car Club of South Jersey is hosting the 27th Annual Rod Run & Wine Festival.

Visitors will have a range of cars from various years to view. Those who enter the car show have the opportunity to wine prizes and trophies for the best cars. Anyone interested in showcasing their car at the event can contact the Rollin’ Rods Car Club by calling 609-320-9941 or 856-904-4511. The car registration fee is $20.

Best of all Rollin’Rods Car club is a non-profit organization that raises funds for charities.

Visitors to the car show and festival will also have the opportunity to  enjoy a wine tasting and pick up a bite to eat. A carafe of sangria will also be available.

In addition to all of this fun, Rolling Rods Car Club will present a Chinese auction. More than 200 prizes will be available. (Since I had not heard of the term Chinese auction, I checked it out online. I discovered that it is an auction usually found at church and charity events. It is sometimes referred to as a penny social. According to the website Fund Raiser Help, “In a Chinese auction, customers buy a number of tickets for a set price, then use the tickets to bid on the items on display by dropping them in a fishbowl next to the item. In a silent auction, they would just enter a bid amount on a form next to the donated item.”)
