The Uruguay wineries who are members of the Wines of Uruguay are looking forward to getting more of their wines exported to other countries including the United States.
The family of Bodegas Carrau began making wine in 1752 in Catalonia in Spain.

Wines of Uruguay Offers Tannat Tasting Tour

If you haven’t heard yet of Uruguay as a wine producing country, plan to learn about the wines they are crafting! Uruguay is an undiscovered South American wine region. Today many of the winemakers are 4th generation family.
