The Mason-Dixon Wine Trail is an unusual wine trail as the trail includes a combination of Maryland and Pennsylvania wineries. The next major Mason-Dixon Wine Trail event is coming up is the Wine Just Off the Vine event. Participants in the event can taste wines that have just been freshly pressed.
Linganore Winecellars in Mt. Airy, Maryland has one more large festival coming up in 2013 – the Autumn Reggae Wine, Music & Art Festival.

Thursday morning we had a delightful time at Catoctin Breeze Vineyard where we helped harvest several rows of Viognier grapes. We were a group of five volunteers who enjoy vineyards and wineries from the vineyard to making the wine disappear.

This year the Maryland Wine Festival takes place the weekend of September 20 and 21. This annual event takes place at the well-known Carroll County Farm Museum in Westminster, Maryland.
